kids say the darnedest things

today i was over at my sister's house, enjoying the superbowl snacks &hanging out with my nephew jack.

for christmas i mad jack an elephant stuffed animal &today he saw it &then we had this conversation:

jack: that my el-fant, tt?

me: yes it is.

jack: you make it for me?

me: yes i did.

jack: wow, thanks tt...you're awesome! [&leaned in for a smooch]

it was fantastic &adorable &totally gladdened my heart. being an auntie is one of my favorite jobs!
